Governance

Asian Community Mental Health Services (ACMHS) is committed to ethics and accountability in governance, management and operations while remaining focused on the people and communities we serve. The Board of Directors, as a board or through board committees, sets policies relating to financial and fundraising management, professional standards, mission-based programs, investment and geographic focus. They also serve as ambassadors of the organization and represent ACMHS before the public, select the Executive Director, and review the performance and compensation of the Executive Director.

Beyond compliance with applicable local, state and federal laws, ACMHS adheres to the following guiding principles: Governing Body; Conflict of Interest; Human Resources; Financial and Legal; Transparency; Fundraising; and Public Affairs & Public Policy.
