Development Intern
ACMHS is seeking volunteers to assist the Executive Director in research, development and maintenance of funding resources for the agency to continue and to expand its culturally appropriate services. Volunteers will provide support for fundraising activities and special events, research grant opportunities through the Internet and directories, contact potential funders and develop funding proposals. Volunteers will also be exposed to program planning and design.
Qualifications include excellent communication, organizational, word processing and Internet research skills. Interns must be team-oriented, willing to learn and be sensitive to cross-cultural issues.
Volunteer commitment: 15 hours/week for 6 months
